Preamble for 2012 Memeber Survey and Results
In August 2012, the TU225 Board initiated a member survey to assess member satisfaction, and to seek new ideas for steering our Chapter forward. Of our 300+ members, about 80 chose to respond.
While reporting satisfaction in the “good” range with Board actions and Chapter activities, many excellent suggestions for improving the Chapter’s direction were offered by interested members.
Martin Custodio, the then-VP of the Chapter, summarized the feedback from this survey, then four Board members (Jim Less, Rich Benson, John Troiano, and Ron Marafioti) reviewed this summary, and listed actions the Board has taken or plans on taking to address each of the categories of suggestions. The “Report Card” from the Board on actions taken to address these areas of suggestions offered by the membership is reported in the following table.
If you have any concerns or additional suggestions, please provide them to a Board member individually, or send an email to a current Board member. Thank you to those who participated in this survey, and, in advance, thank you to any who are willing to offer additional suggestions for helping our Chapter achieve our goals.
